A Thrifty Event

Ever wonder what kinds of things you can find at a thrift store? All you have to do is look!

Here are some great finds:

 I found 20 of these tea cups and coasters for under $20. This is great for a bridal shower tea party. Add some soft pinks and yellows for a pastel tea party look.

 These champagne glasses were $1 each. These can be used for wedding party glasses or even favors with candy in them!

 There are about 10 plates/bowls/salad plates all for $1 each. Buy these for a small Christmas dinner you are having.


Make sure you wash before using!

This cart looks a little dusty right now, but clean it up, paint it black or metallic, and then add your alcohol with cups and ice and you have a rolling bar!

Invitations have become more personalized and "stylish" over the past 10 years and it is in fact OKAY to send invites that represent your personality. It's also great if you want to make them too! • bright colors that pop (ex. yellow writing on black background)

• straight lines
• layering

• a background of your interests (beach, biking, mountains)
